Our Story

A family business that shows up

Talk to the owner, not a call center.

Barry's Stump Removal is a family-owned Lancaster business. Customers say they communicate directly with the owner by phone — and that Barry is knowledgeable on soil and roots, not just the grinder.

On time, friendly, professional, and careful not to tear up the lawn. That's the reputation across 25 five-star reviews.

For over 30 years, Barry's has been removing stumps for Lancaster homeowners — from a single stump in the front yard to several stumps and shrub roots in one visit. Difficult stumps, like one under a new fence, are the kind of job customers say Barry handles when others can't.

The pattern in the reviews is consistent: show up when promised, get the job done quickly, charge what was quoted, and leave the place looking clean.
